Can someone shed some light on this, I've always wondered why some fishing techniques are considered more sustainable than others. I mean, isn't fishing just fishing? You're taking fish from the ocean either way, right? Would love to hear your thoughts and experiences about this. Is there like a more responsible way to fish that causes less harm to the marine ecosystem? Cheers!

Well, let's not forget that in the past, people used to fish using sticks and their bare hands. Now, we've got all these high-tech gear and equipment. It won't surprise me if Wi-Fi enabled fishing rods become a thing in the near future, ordering your fish to come and get your bait! ? Seriously though, does modern fishing equipment play a part in sustainable fishing? You'd think that more advanced tools would allow for more efficiency and less unnecessary damage to marine life. Am I off base here? What do you folks think?
