How can I involve and teach my children or beginners to fish in a fun and engaging way?

Have you tried tying the fishing experience with a related water activity they already enjoy? Like building a makeshift raft or doing a riverside picnic maybe?

Ever tried using gummy worms as bait? That way, if the fish aren't biting, at least the kids are not going hungry!

Another fun way to kick things up a notch could be to have a little competition. Who catches the first fish, the biggest fish, or even the weirdest thing that's not a fish? This element of healthy competition might just be the twist they need to get hooked (pun intended). How about some scavenger hunt as well? It indeed makes the waiting period more exciting!
